Bathed In Moonlight

Heartstring Eulogies

Tonight, I soared in the blue-gray clouds that blanketed the sky like a shroud. The warm summer air rippled through my hair and tinged every inch if my flesh. I wasn’t trembling from fear. It was the excitement. The sheer thrill of being in the sky, touching those misty giants, and bathing in the moon’s soft glow.

Like so many people, I am a paradox. I am a politically conservative vegetarian. I am from a Christian background, and still tend to like those values, but am a metaphysical astrologer trained in science who has an interest in the magic of ancient Egypt and a weird belief that some piece of our essence can live on a server. I live in Texas, but like chatting with my international Wordpress pals the best. I learn by teaching. Technically, I am a "Leo," but I am very, very Aquarian with a dose of Scorpio. I bitterly complain about Algol (and Algol personaliites), yet it is the one star that defines me most (other than Regulus). (Which, oddly, makes me an Algol personality.) I am a reclusive lover of peace and quiet who has the Ascendant in the Via Combusta (the most conflict ridden part of the zodiac). I am an incredibly private person with a blog with over 800 followers and 50 to 150 regular daily visitors. I could go on, but I think you get the picture.

      1. Sometimes I skip a day, sometimes even two or three or more. But most days I check the blog / posts. I am fairly consistent.

      2. I do not think it is possible (for a human) to do it EVERY day and never miss. Scheduling items is possible, but reblogs are dependent on viewing the work of others.

      3. I like to queue them up, too, but these days I am mostly doing reblogs. Over the next few days I want to write my New Moon / Full Moon forecasts for the remainder of the year so that I know I have those in place. A few of those have been “dropped” in the last few months.

      4. Life does happen. And we all need “time off.” I think the popular metaphor in danger of becoming trite is that we need to “replenish the well.” And sometimes it is just a mix of things. And sometimes it is just time away. (Sounds like an article on this topic is brewing! 🙂 )

      5. I have been up for a long time. Might be a short session tonight. Much is percolating for me. (Much to think about; outside of my WordPress world / identity. Life & death sorts of things. I think I am at a turning point.)
